The INT4FURN International Conference Successfully Held!

The international conference titled “Unlocking Global Markets: Internationalization for Furniture Micro-SMEs” took place with great participation on April 9, 2025. Hosted at Gazi University, the event focused on enhancing the internationalization capacities of micro-SMEs in the furniture sector.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about the outcomes of the INT4FURN Project, including the development of the digital education platform, pilot application experiences, and an in-depth discussion on the opportunities and challenges involved in internationalization processes.

The event featured:

• Opening speeches by Prof. Dr. Alper Güzel (Gazi University), Ali İhsan Güçlü (ATO), and Prof. Dr. Serhat Karyeyen (Gazi University)

• Presentations on pilot country experiences

• An introduction to the digital learning center

• Discussions on micro-qualifications and professions of the future

• A certificate ceremony and networking opportunities

The conference provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among stakeholders in the furniture industry and vocational education sector.
