Mission: The Polytechnic School of Santarém is a public institution of higher polytechnic education, at the service of society, committed to the high level qualification of citizens, aiming at the production and dissemination of knowledge, the creation, transmission and dissemination of knowledge of a professional nature, culture, science, technology, arts, targeted research and experimental development, highlighting the centrality of the student and the surrounding community, within an international reference framework.

IPSantarém promotes institutional cooperation and the effective mobility of all its agents, teachers, researchers and non-teaching staff, both nationally and internationally – especially in the European higher education area and in the community of Portuguese-speaking countries, promoting access to higher education and lifelong learning.

Susana Leal

Assistant Professor
Susana Leal is Assistant Professor in ESGT-IPSantarém. She holds a PhD in Management, under the topic of Organizational Behaviour and Corporate Social Responsibility, and a Master in Statistics and Information Management. She conducts research activities on Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Ethics, Management, Quality of Life at Work, and on Social Economy topics. She is currently full member of the Life Quality Research Center at Polytechnic Institute of Santarém. ORCID 0000-0002-8796-8289
Sandra Oliveira

Sandra Oliveira

Assistant Professor
Sandra Oliveira is an Assistant Professor in ESGT-IPSantarém where she coordinates a Master Program in Management of Health Care Units. Her expertise in management and as an IR or partner in developing applied projects leads to a close approach with the community and stakeholders.<br /> She holds a Ph.D. in Health Economics from the University of Coimbra. Topics of research are the demand for preventive health care, health care management, value in health, social business models and general management. Ana Loureiro

Assistant Professor
Ana Loureiro is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Technologies at ESE-IPSantarém where she coordinates a master program in Digital Education Resources and a bachelor in Multimedia Production in Education, and she is a Researcher at LE@D – Distance Education and eLearning Lab (Open University, Lisbon). She holds a PhD in Multimedia in Education. Her research interests are: digital literacy, online learning, virtual worlds, Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL), Open Educational Resources (OER). João Nascimento

João Nascimento

Assistant Professor
João Nascimento is graduated in Management Informatics; Holds a MSc in Management – Organization Information Systems. His main research interest is focused in Information Systems Development, Business Analysis and Project Management. João was a CIO in an automotive parts production enterprise and IT consultant. João has been a lecturer since 1998 to present (Assistant Professor since 2015) at IPSantarém. ORCID 0000-0002-4283-5829
